My Favorite Hobby

I have never been one for playing sports,I am just no good at them. So, I guess your good say my favorite hobby is writing.I know that may sound kinda lame, but it is something I love to do.I love writing because I came make my ideas come alive through words.With writing there is many kinds, so I am free to express myself.One time for a project,I turned a whole book into a play.
  My favorite kind of writing is poetry.I love writing poetry,because I can say exactly how I feel just by writing it down.With poetry there are no rules.I can write however I want.I feel free when writing poetry.My poem could have a meaning behind it, or no meaning at all.I also love writing because in a way it is sort of like a comfort.What I mean is if I do not feel like talking, or have anyone to talk to,I write.I do not know what else to say, so I guess I will share one of my poems.
    
                           My Poem
   I woke up late for school today
It was then that I knew it be a terrible day
I missed my bus, so I had to awaken the moms
It was then that she really started to complain
    She said that if I had not stayed up late,
I would have woken up on time
I knew that today would be a terrible day
  My tummy grumbled, and grambled
I begged and pledd her to get me some food
She said "No way dude"
   My mom kept driving our old rusty car,and made she she hit every curb
I yelled. I screamed. "mom go faster"
My mum picked up the speed
But when she got into the skool's parking lot; it was empty
   It was then that I noticed a sign taped to the door
"No school today for records day"
"Hey", i thought this aint so bad.....
At least i still got time to write the poem that was due today in class.
