My Rule

A rule that means something to me is that you should always tell someone you care about that you love them. Whenever possible. This rule is important to me because, a few months ago my dad was killed.And even though I knew my dad loved me, and I loved him ; I felt I never said it enough. Now that he is gone all I have left is couple of photo's and some memories. And I regeret not spending as much time with him as I should have.Or picking up the phone to just say hello.Because I miss the small thing my dad used to do.Like telling me Happy Birthday,or that he is proud of me,or that he believes in me, or picking me up when I fall,or saving me from crazy barking dogs that are on the streets. But what I miss most is him just being there. That is why I believe you should always tell someone that is important " I love you". Because no one ever know's what is gonna happen.I certainly did not know my dad was going to get killed. Also because once someone is gone ,they are gone.
